China has doubled spending on tourism in 2020

The Chinese government said it aims to double domestic spending on tourism todouble by 2020, through the provision of financial assistance and other forms of support for the development of the sector in the context of China's quest to promote domestic spending to stimulate economic growth. 
China has seen that famous tourist attractions such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City, a boom in the number of tourists in recent years, both in the internal orforeign tourism but the infrastructure is struggling to cope with it. 
By 2020, the government aims to raise spending on domestic tourism to 5.5 trillionyuan, or the equivalent of 894 billion dollars, which is more than double the expenditures to the sector in 2013, which amounted to 2.6 trillion yuan. 
Tourism is more than five percent of GDP. 
She tourism revitalization plan, published on the website of the central government that it will encourage tourism companies to list their shares on the stock exchange and to facilitate the granting of loans and financial assistance to small businesses operating in the sector.

The data for the World Tourism Organization of the United Nations that China receivedin the past year 55.7 million foreign tourists, a decrease of 3.5%, for the year 2012.
